So I haven't posted in a while, and I don't have a reason for it, other than maybe our newlywed lives have been slightly ordinary these past few weeks. However I will recap the blog-worthy events of our lives from the past few weeks.
Lets start with the symphony. Jenny, my sister in law had a little baby girl the end of February. Judy, Sam and Jenny's mom flew out to Kansas to be with Jenny for a week. In her absence David, Sam's dad took us to the American Fork Symphony. We brought dinner over to the house (Rachel Rays Spinach and Artichoke Mac N Cheese, minus the artichokes because I couldn't find any... plus LC's Pistachio Pie). Note, if you google that Rachel Ray recipe, it has been the toughest, nastiest food to wash off my dishes. Thank you spinach.
Last Friday night, I had two of my nieces, Abbey and Hailey spend the night. I was really excited for them to come over, and as Sam pointed out I was planning it all week. I tried thinking about what Kelly and I used to do when we were 11 or so, and it was crafts, games, movies, treats. So I did my best to recreate my perfect sleepover for the girls. Well we had a great time. We made these really cute t-shirt scarves with flower pins, went out for ice cream to Baskin Robbins and watched Monte Carlo, which I did enjoy.
